Chapter 7

Make Your Sales Page Look Good

Get Some Great Looking Page Covers

To make your page really stand out get some professional page covers created. These do not
exist in the real world! – but they would look good on any book shelf. An excellent source for
obtaining these is from www.trendyecovers.com The website that this one was created for had the original graphics on the left, but the updated one on the right looks 100% better – which one do you think produces the most sales? It is the attention to detail that makes good sales
records in to fantastic ones!

You can use template to your sales pages. It will make any sales campaign look good. Just try and keep the color scheme simple.

To keep the theme of the website www.trendycovers can also create banners and a header panel to go at the top of your website and navigation buttons or links to go with the header.

The header and footer of this document has been created by TrendyeCovers. There are also matching payment buttons and a background that accompanies the overall scheme.

Again the best guidance is to ‘borrow’ the ideas from other people’s sales pages – don’t cut and paste them into Microsoft Front Page as this is unethical and probably illegal. Get quite a few of them and cut and paste them in to notepad. The reason to use notepad is that it will strip out any tell tale signs of the original webpage, so you only end up with the original text.

Once you have a dozen or so sales pages all saves as a text file, cut and paste some of the paragraphs remembering to use the essential elements above. Once complete paste the work in to Microsoft Frontpage and copy the formatting of all the leading sale pages that you have saved as favorites. Use your swipe file to add to your sales page.

You will have noticed that all the sales pages have testimonials who rave about the product. This shouldn’t create a problem! – We all have friends and families who can review your page and give you constructive comments to add to your sales page. There is nothing like
good review to increase sales.
